What Should You Expect?
Functional Patterns Classes are an amazing way to develop fundamental functional skills at a very affordable price. You will be in a small group of like-minded people who are at a similar skill level. There is a qualified Functional Patterns trainer who runs the class at a pace that suits the skill level of each individual. If you are struggling with an exercise or concept, the trainer will be more than happy to explain things again, regress the exercise to something easier and explain anything you didn’t understand briefly after class. This functional patterns class is suitable for those who are new to functional patterns, have never tried it before or those who want to refresh their basic and fundamental skills.
The Functional Patterns Beginner Class is the perfect way to dip your toes in. The class runs for 1hr and is often set up to target a certain goal. For example, your might be tackling rotation or core activation in your next class.
What Can You Achieve Through The Beginners Class?
People who attend our functional beginners classes experience an increase in their energy, an improvement in their posture and a decrease in their pain/dysfunctions. While class attendees may not get a full result without attending one-on-one sessions, they are an incredible way to practice the fundamentals outside of one-on-one sessions, to increase competence and to increase the effectiveness of your functional practice.
You will also get the chance to meet and bond with Functional Patterns Trainers who are a wealth of knowledge. Unlike general group classes, even the beginners class is wildly educational. The specialist will always let you know why you are doing what you are doing and is more than happy to modify the exercises based on your individual needs or goals. Every exercise will have a ‘harder’ version and an ‘easier’ version - so don’t be afraid to ask!
